Went to the Annandale's movie night and watched the The Apple, which was a shocking musical set in the future (1994) where everyone exercised to bad glam disco and wore loads of silver, and silver sneakers and drove german cars with bubbles on top. There were serious giggles and groans - mostly at the pseudo love/sex scenes.

Next week though is Wake in fright aka Outback (as released in Europe) which i've never seen, but certainly read at an age that would have been just that bit too young. It's based on a kenneth cook novel.
